Vampire Guide
A Vampire balances attacks, blood recovery and powers that can consume HP. Learn that rhythm before taking on a crowd.

Return to Limbo
New Vampires begin inside Castle Limbo. This is the setting of Bathory’s introductory welcome. Use the atlas to distinguish the starting interior from the outdoor Limbo maps and dungeon floors.
Practice Blood Drain
Against an ordinary eligible monster, reduce its HP to one third or less before attempting Blood Drain. Stay close and use it while the target is alive. A target already drained, immune or claimed by another player outside your party can reject the attempt.
HP is also a resource
Vampire powers can spend HP. Keep a reserve for incoming damage and carry serum before travelling. Blood Drain can recover HP and contribute experience when its conditions are met; do not rely on a successful drain to escape every dangerous situation.
Choose your powers
The skill window groups powers into Poison, Acid, Curse, Blood, Summon and Innate. Check the required racial level and the description before learning or assigning a skill. These families offer different tools; an icon alone does not tell you the target or resource cost.
Recognize your current form
Transformations alter your visible form and can limit services. Return to normal form before using the Market. The Appearance guide separates equipment, transformations and natural aura examples so you can compare them without confusing one system with another.
Shared reference
These rules and resources apply to both races. Follow one shared guide for each system.
